Shorter McCain: "Who cares about Afghanistan?"

Could John McCain care any less about the festering wound that we've left in Afghanistan because we were distracted by the foolish unnecessary war in Iraq?

First, we just "muddle through" Afghanistan, in John McCain's own words.



Then, even though you're the top Republican on the Senate Armed Service Committee, you don't even bother to show up at all 6 of the committee's hearings on Afghanistan over the last two years.

And he says we'll focus on Afghanistan after we "win" Iraq?!? So I guess the Taliban can keep killing our soldiers and gaining power for the next hundred years, then we'll start paying attention to them.

And John McCain thinks he's entitled to be Commander-in-Chief?
